CANAPÉS

I can provide a selection of elegant canapés and nibbles, ideal for drinks receptions, celebrations and special occasions.

Minimum numbers apply:
• Weekdays: minimum 20 guests
• Fridays & Saturdays: minimum 40 guests

All canapés are freshly prepared using high-quality ingredients and are designed to complement the style and flow of your event. I’m always happy to help create a balanced selection that works perfectly with your drinks, timing and atmosphere.

PRICING

Packages start from £10.00 per person (typically around 6 canapés per guest).

Pricing is based on 4 varieties, with each canapé produced at a minimum of 1.5 pieces per guest.

For example, 40 guests choosing 4 varieties would receive a minimum of 60 of each canapé, ensuring there is plenty for guests to enjoy throughout the service.

Additional canapé varieties can be added for £2.00 per person, per variety.

For shorter events of around one hour, 4–5 varieties are usually ideal.
For longer events, or where canapés are expected to form a more substantial element of the food offering, many clients choose 5–7 varieties to provide a more generous and varied experience.

Canapé options are almost endless, and I always enjoy the opportunity to create seasonal and interesting combinations. Many clients prefer to share a few preferences or favourite ingredients, and then allow me to design a suitable selection including a balance of meat, fish and vegetarian options. Alternatively, we can of course create a specific menu together to suit your taste and budget.

Some premium ingredients (for example scallops, lobster or beef fillet) may incur a small supplement.

Staffing is quoted separately depending on event size, location and service style.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

To help ensure everything runs smoothly on the day, a few practical considerations are outlined below.

Preparation space

Many canapés require some last-minute assembly to ensure they are served fresh and at their best. As such, a reasonable amount of preparation space is usually required to allow for a smooth and seamless service.

If hot canapés are selected, suitable cooking facilities will also be needed. This can be discussed at enquiry stage to ensure the available space and equipment are appropriate for your event.

Serving dishes

If you have a particular theme or style for your event, you may wish to hire or purchase serving platters to complement the look. However, I also have a selection of plates, boards and serving pieces available which can be used to present the canapés attractively.

Serving staff

I have trusted staff available to assist with canapé events. As a general guide, I would normally recommend approximately 1 member of staff per 20 guests to ensure smooth and consistent service.

For larger events, additional assistance may also be required for preparation and plating. A full staffing recommendation and quote can be provided once details of the event are confirmed.
